Choir brings students together from all over college. Singing is a fun activity and joins many communities together and the College Choir seeks to do exactly this. Students (and members of staff) meet on a Monday at 4pm to sing a variety of music including gospel numbers from Sister Act, popular music such as Queen's Bohemian Rhapsody and classical numbers including Rutter and Jenkins. The Choir perform at several events throughout the academic year. Their main event is the College Carol Service, which takes place at St Chad's, Poulton every December. They have also performed at the Autumn Concert and gave a mini carol service in front of both students and staff in the Concert Hall. They are regularly working towards international tours and the seasonal concerts. The Choir is open to anyone in college and is a fun, social event that caters for a variety of musical tastes.
