Several times a year the Music Department presents major concerts at the college, as well as many other musical events in the College concert Hall. The annual Summer Music Concert and Battle of the Bands have been very successful in recent years as was the first college Pop Wannabe.
In addition to College concerts, students perform at Open Evenings, Prize Giving, Art Exhibitions, informal lunchtime concerts, and class concerts.
Students are encouraged to form their own chamber music ensembles, duos, rock and other groups
