These teams compete regularly in competitions organised by the British Colleges, and the North West Colleges organisations. There is a larger time commitment needed for these groups than others. The college uses qualified sport specific coaches for their academies. There are also opportunities to travel to sports camps both in the U.K. and abroad with the academies. This academy is linked with F.A Chartermark club Poulton Town FC.
