State-of-the-art facilities at Blackpool Sixth
The Sixth Form boasts first class facilities and state-of-the-art, professional standard equipment in areas such as Art, Music Technology, Science, ICT, Photography and Media Production.
All computers in the college are the latest Apple iMacs which are the industry standard for many industries including music, media and graphic design. Using these computers gives students a significant advantage in the workplace.
There are two learning resource areas equipped with the latest computers, a large sports hall and gym, two restaurants, a Starbucks coffee shop, social areas and a Student Services Centre. In September 2009, we opened a brand new area of the Sixth Form, including “The Frame”, a fantastic new home for our department of Visual Arts and Media.
