Diploma in ICT Practitioners

BTEC Level 3 ICT Practitioners is an engaging two year programme of study, equivalent to either two A Levels (Diploma) or one A Level (Subsidiary Diploma). This course covers general and specialised aspects of IT, specifically focusing on the multimedia aspect of IT such as Web Design, Animation, Graphics and Computer Gaming.
Studying BTEC ICT at Blackpool Sixth Form will offer you the opportunity to experience practical learning using state of the art Apple Macintosh computers and industry standard software such as Dreamweaver, iWeb, Adobe Flash, Photoshop, among many others.

Where does it lead
Upon successful completion of the course, you can progress on to foundation degrees or degree opportunities within Information Technology. Furthermore, the practical aspect of this course provides the relevant experience employers want, taking you directly to the workplace with skills you can use immediately. This course is a nationally recognised vocational qualification that will provide you with the skills to take you directly to the workplace, or on to higher education.
