Financial Studies (CeFS)

This professional qualification in finance can be taken as part of an applied programme to provide a route into higher education and the financial services industry. It also helps you to make confident and informed choices about money. CeFS is a new innovation for Blackpool Sixth Form and many of our students go on and study in higher education especially in the business and finance sectors.
In the second year many students go on to study the Diploma in Financial Studies (Dip FS), which enables students to apply their skills to the wider financial environment. Together the CeFS and Dip FS can provide up to 120 UCAS points
Did you know?
CeFS is run by the IFS which used to be the Institute of Bankers. It has provided professional financial education for the past 130 years.
