What will I study?

You will study six units that will cover aspects of Biology, Chemistry and Physics. You will find out about how science is used
in industry. You will carry out a lot of practical investigations and research case studies using different sources including the Internet.

Sometimes you will work alone completing work for your portfolio, but often you will be asked to work in pairs and sometimes there will be team challenges.

Assessment

There are no examinations. You are assessed entirely through coursework.

Where does it lead

The course leads well to the next level of BTEC Applied Science - either the Medical Science or Forensics route. It can also be used to help move into another area of advanced study or help you find employment in a related area.
