Key Dates & Events
School Liaison Team
Our School Liaison Team visits schools to give talks and run guidance sessions for all those interested in applying to the Sixth Form. They also carry out the interviews. Each member of the team has particular responsibility for a number of our partner high schools.
Open Days and Evenings
Our Open Day and Evening events are the perfect opportunity for you to come into the Sixth Form to find out more about our courses, enrichment programme and information on financial and transport support.
Open Day:
- Saturday 24th September 2011 from 10am – 2pm
Open Evenings:
- Wednesday 5th October from 5.30 - 9.00
- Thursday 10th November 2011 from 5.30 - 9.00
Course Advice Evening:
- Wednesday 29th February 2012 from 6.00 - 8.00.
Pre-Sixth Form Conference
In the Summer term, our Pre-Sixth Form Taster Day is a chance for you to spend a full day getting a taster for the courses you would like to take and generally get a feeling for the Sixth Form environment. In 2012, this exciting event will be held on Monday 2nd July and Tuesday 3rd July 2012. You will be invited to attend on one of these two days.
Enrolment Days
Applicants receive an information pack in early August 2012. This will explain how to enrol at the Sixth Form. On Enrolment Day, you are invited into Sixth Form to make your final choice of courses. Advice will be available if you are still unsure exactly which courses to study. You will also receive details of what do to do on your first day at Sixth Form.
In 2012, our Enrolment Days will be held on Thursday 23rd and Friday 24th August 2012. An induction period will take place during your first few days at Sixth Form. You will receive all the information and guidance you need to get started and become fully involved in Sixth Form life.
