Study Programmes

Study Programmes with Minimum Entry Requirements (GCSE or equivalent):

 

mathsGifted and Talented Programme:

  • 4 AS courses plus Critical Thinking

You will need mainly A* and A grades including English and Maths

 

 

Art studentInternational Baccalaureate Diploma:

  • A broad based programme of academic and personal development with a world-wide reputation

You will need 5 B’s including English and Maths, 2 C’s

 

 

Students using whiteboardA Level Programme:

  • 4 AS courses plus an Additional Studies Programme

You need 2 B grades, 4 C grades including English or Maths (passes above C must cover at least 4 different subject areas)

 

 

Media Production StudentsAdvanced Applied Programme:

  • Based around at least one BTEC Level 3 qualification with AS levels/a GCSE resit plus an Additional Studies Programme.

You need 5 C grades including English or Maths (passes above C must cover at least 3 different subject areas)

 

 

Science studentsDual Pathway (Level 2)

  • A BTEC First Diploma and Extended Certificate, equivalent to 6 GCSEs, plus GCSE English and/or Maths and, where appropriate an Additional Studies Programme.

You will need 4 D grades (or equivalent)

All programmes will also include: Personal Tutor sessions, Additional Studies and Enrichment
