Student organised fashion show raises money for Cancer Research UK

Business students Lauren Nelder and Hannah Liptrot deserve praise for their organising of the Jinx Fashion Show at the Hilton Hotel on Wednesday 4th March, showing off fashion designs by Amy Chen.
Amy, who is one of the Sixth Form's International Baccalaureate Diploma students, showed off designs based on an Alice in Wonderland theme.The event also included performances from Performing Arts and Music students.
The event managed to raise over £800 for Cancer Research UK and prizes of more than £1000 were raffled off at the event to guests.
The students organised the entire event including booking the venue, arranging the entertainment, promoting the show and creating the business plan.
