International Students Courses
The College offers courses to students with a range of abilities.
Most students study GCE AS and A2 level courses. Applied A level courses and GCSEs are also available. All international students, whose first language is not English, are supported with their English Language and entered for the IELTS test. This test helps students with entry to UK universities. Most students will choose a two year course of study of A level subjects designed to lead on to university entry.
The College has an arrangement with "English in York" a specialist intensive English Language college where students can undertake a number of weeks' tuition before commencing A level study.
Students will receive advice about their choice of Advanced Level subjects on arrival at the College. This will depend largely on the student's English Language ability.
Students should provide evidence of their English Language ability on application.

Why is BSFC a great place for International Students?
The College is a great place for International students to study because there was a mix of students from around the world including Poland, China etc which helped me to make lots of friends.
Proposed Career / Ambition?
I left the College in September 2008 to go to Imperial College in London where I am studying Maths. I intends to be a Stock Broker or to work with the Economy.
