FYi Staff
What we do:
We aim to provide you with the resources and tools to develop your research and information-gathering techniques and to support you in your studies.
We will provide you with an initial induction into the LRC where you will have a tour of the Library and resources, and complete some research gathering techniques and discover how to search the book catalogue online.
What we expect of you:
The Learning Resource Centres have been designed as modern, comfortable and adaptable spaces for you to concentrate on your studies.
We ask all students to respect the areas and to respect others' need to study in a pleasant and calm environment.
Food and drink (including gum) is not allowed in the FYi or FYi Express. Bottled water must be kept in bags.
Please keep mobile phones on silent at all times whilst in the FYi and go outside if you need to make or take a call.

We have Learning Resource Mentors available in the FYi and the FYi Express at all times with specific curriculum responsibilities to help you to research for your assignments. The members of the FYi team are:
