Your route to enrolment

Have you already applied to join Blackpool Sixth? If so, please see the information below about what you need to do to complete your enrolment with us.

Check your info

Log in to your application account and check your contact details.

We must have the correct email and mobile number for you as we will use these to send you all the important messages about enrolment. Please make sure you have checked this before Friday 3rd July as we will be 'locking' our applications system at this point.

Enrolment appointment

In the second week of July, we’ll send you your enrolment appointment time by email, along with a text reminder so you don’t forget.

When to Attend

You will receive an email in early July confirming your appointment time. Enrolment appointments will take place on Thursday 20th August between 10:00 am and 6:15 pm.

Can’t Make Your Appointment Time?

If you’re unable to attend at your allocated time, you can still come in at any point on Thursday between 10:00 am and 6:15 pm.

We will also have additional enrolment availability on Friday 21st August between 9:00 am and 1:00 pm.

Unable to Attend Either Day?

If you cannot attend on either day, please email us as soon as possible at:

Enrolment Days

What to bring:
✔ A copy of your GCSE results (or equivalent)
✔ A printed copy is best if you can
✔ Any GCSE results from previous years
✔ Bring your certificates or results slips too

What Happens at Your Appointment?
The main part of your appointment is choosing your courses. You’ll:
✔ Chat through your options with our friendly enrolment team
✔ Finalise the subjects you want to study
✔ Get advice if you’re unsure or need help deciding

Other Things on the Day
You’ll also:
✔ Have your photo taken for your student ID
✔ Get help sorting transport (if needed)
✔ Find out about financial support (if you need it)

What Happens After You Enrol?
Once you’ve enrolled, we’ll invite you to an Induction Day
You’ll attend on either:
Tuesday 1st September or Wednesday 2nd September

What’s Induction Like?
It’s a relaxed intro to college where you’ll:
✔ Get to know the college
✔ Meet staff and other students
✔ Get set up on college computers and systems

Your First Proper Day
Thursday 3rd September
This is when you’ll start your full timetable and begin your journey as a Blackpool Sixth student.
