Essential information for parents and carers of Year 11 students
As part of the ‘Experience Blackpool Sixth’ resources, we are providing video material aimed specifically at parents/carers of Year 11 students. In this informative and engaging package senior college staff will cover:
- Our curriculum and study programmes – A levels, BTECs and other vocational qualifications, the Route3 and Excellence programmes
- How we support students – pastoral care, study support, additional learning needs support and transport/financial support
- The next steps after college – university, apprenticeships, gap years and other choices
