Here is some information that may help you prepare for your enrolment at Blackpool Sixth.
If you have any questions about enrolment, please do not hesitate to get in touch, we’d love to hear from you. You can contact our Admissions Team on 01253 394911 or email email@example.com
See you soon!
You will receive a letter and information pack in early August that will detail your enrolment appointment date and time on one of the two enrolment days. Please do try to come at your allocated time. If you can’t make the particular time but can come at another time on one of the two days, that will be OK. If you are not able to attend on either day, please contact the Admissions Team urgently.
What to bring to your enrolment appointment
Please bring your completed enrolment form (the form is provided in the pack you will receive). You need to fill in your exam results and confirm on the form the courses you wish to study – these will be pre-printed with the most recent choices we have for you.
You’ll need to bring all your examination result slips, including any you took before Year 11. You must also bring identification – either your passport or the long version of your birth certificate (please see the information in the pack for more information on this). Please note that we will not be able to confirm your enrolment without the correct identification.
At your interview and in your offer letter, you will have been given entry criteria for your proposed study programme and we hope that you have achieved these grades. These are also available in our prospectus and on the study programmes and course section of our website. If your results are not quite as expected and you do not meet your entry criteria, please do not worry! Please come to your enrolment appointment and we will have advisors on hand to help you.
Finance and Transport Support
There will be a bursary desk available at your enrolment interview. You can read more about the bursary fund here, or you can download and complete an application form here. You should bring a completed application form to enrolment. We also offer extensive transport support – click here for more information (add link). If you are eligible for transport support, you will be able to arrange this at enrolment.
There are plenty of exciting wider opportunities at Blackpool Sixth beyond your studies such as the 6Xtra enrichment and recreation programme; the 6Advance curriculum extension programme and the Excellence Programme for academic high-fliers and extensive work experience programmes. You’ll be given the option to to add these to your study programmes when you start with us.
Please do get in touch if you have any questions! Looking forward to meeting you soon.
