We are delighted that you have applied to study at Blackpool Sixth. We are looking forward to you starting as students in our college!

Please find below information and resources to help you prepare in the best way possible for your courses at Blackpool Sixth.

Applicant Process

Getting started, sometimes it helps to think about where you want to be when considering how to get there. Why not use the questions below to start a conversation with your friends/family/staff in school or even contact our Admissions team for advice.

We review all applications very carefully. If we need to discuss your application, then we will contact you to arrange a convenient time for an email exchange or telephone call. This would simply be a friendly chat with one of our Admissions and School Liaison team and is nothing to be worried about at all. Under normal circumstances we would speak to you in school or in college, but this is currently not possible due to the ongoing Covid restrictions. We will, however, be in regular contact via email and this will be reviewed as the year progresses.

After you have applied, make sure you check your emails so you don’t miss our offer of a conditional place, (click here for the minimum entry requirements for your place at Blackpool Sixth).

Any updates and news from Blackpool Sixth will be sent to you throughout the year, so please check your messages regularly.

If you need to update your email or phone number at any time you can do so at admissions@blackpoolsixth.ac.uk
