6Xtra is our extra-curricular activity programme, it works around a student’s weekly academic timetable to enrich students’ learning and development. 6Xtra is a great opportunity to further an existing interest, take up a new challenge, make friends and have fun.
Our activities can contribute to personal and social development, whilst developing important skills such as commitment, good citizenship, initiative, leadership and team spirit, all of interest to employers and universities.
Our 6Xtra programme is split into three sections
This takes place during pastoral mentor sessions and includes team building, developing communication and problem solving skills in a practical and fun way. This takes place outside of the classroom and focuses on developing employability skills.
