NHS Blackpool Talking Therapies - Formally Blackpool Healthier Minds. Jamie comes into college on Fridays from 9:30 - 15:00. He is based in the focus centre. He offers students the initial triage appointment to then be placed on a waiting list for the most appropriate therapy within their service. (Only available for students with a Blackpool GP)

NHS Talking Therapies - Formally Mindsmatter. Grace sees students for Low Level CBT sessions and offers 6 30 minute sessions in college on Wednesdays. For students to access this service please refer to our counselling referral form and we will then forward on if this is an appropriate service for the student. She will be available from next Wednesday between 12:00 - 13:00.

SHINE - Education Mental Health Practitioners (EMHPs) - We have 2 that come into college, Rachael and Abi. They are in college on Fridays and see students in college for low-level interventions. To get students seen by SHINE a counselling request for support form needs to be filled in and we will then triage to the EMHPs.

Mental Health risk support liaison practitioner - Is a role that sits within social work at Blackpool Council. They are coming in initially every 2 weeks to help support staff and students. They will be based in Focus fortnightly on Wednesdays between 11:30 - 13:30 for discussions with staff and students.
