Let’s get you started on your path to success at Blackpool Sixth!
Before you start your application, you will need;
- Your email address - this should be a personal email address, not a school email
- Consider your course choices, at this stage these can be courses you are interested in
- The list of GCSE courses you are studying or have studied, including your achieved, predicted, or “working-at” grades
Please note that we are a college for 16-19 students only. If you will be older than 18 on the 31st August in the year that you are looking to join us, we will not be able to accept your application, unfortunately. Young people with an Education, Health and Care Plan (EHCP) may be eligible to apply up to the age of 25.

APPLICATION FAQs
- If I apply and then change my mind about the subjects I want to study at Blackpool Sixth, what should I do?
You can amend your course choices within your application. Simply log in to your account, select course change in “My Application” and follow the instructions. Your application status will have to be “Change Review” while the request is processed.
- What should I do if I need to update my contact details?
We rely upon email and text/SMS to stay in touch with you during the application and enrolment process. You can log into your application to update your email and phone numbers
- I don’t know what subjects I want to study at Blackpool Sixth yet, what should I do?
We recommend applying as soon as possible during Year 11. If you are unsure, you could list courses you are considering or interested in. You will be invited to attend one of our Course Discussion events once you have completed your application.
- What will happen once I’ve applied?
You and your Parent/Carer will receive an automated acknowledgment email. Your application will then be reviewed by our Admissions Coordinator and you will receive an invitation to attend one of our Course Discussion events.
- I’ve forgotten my login details, what should I do?
When logging into your account, use the “Forgotten password?” option to reset your password.
