The Balloon Walk
10th March 2026
We are taking on a 22-mile walk with one clear purpose: to raise vital funds and awareness for mental health support in Blackpool. Along the way, we will visit and highlight charities that work tirelessly to support those struggling with their mental health, showing our solidarity and commitment to a cause that affects so many lives.
During the walk, we will carry 50 balloons. Each balloon represents one of the 50 men who have tragically lost their lives to suicide in Blackpool over the past three years. This walk is not just a physical challenge—it is a moment of remembrance, reflection, and a powerful statement that these lives mattered and will not be forgotten.
We have chosen to support Elliot’s Place because it addresses a major and ongoing mental health crisis within Blackpool—one that has touched almost every family, friend group, and community in the area. Their work provides hope, understanding, and support where it is desperately needed.
By donating, you are helping to break the stigma around mental health, support life-saving services, and show those who are struggling that they are not alone. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps make a difference.
Thank you for your support

The Den Team
The Superhero Walk
16th March 2026
Fylde Coast superheroes unite!
Join Charlie, Dylan, Matthew and Izzy as we take on an awesome walk to raise money for The Den, a charity dedicated to helping children and families in need.
We have chosen to support The Den because we strongly believe that no child should ever have to live in fear or experience domestic violence. Sadly, this is a reality for too many children, and it’s an issue that is incredibly close to our hearts.
By taking on this challenge, we hope not only to raise vital funds, but also to raise awareness and stand up for children who need safety, support, and a chance to grow up feeling secure and loved. Every step we take is for them.
Thank you for supporting our walk and helping us make a real difference. Together, we can help put an end to domestic violence and give children the brighter future they deserve

Solace Seagulls
20KM Beach Walk
18th March 2026
We are taking on a 20k walk from Rossall Point to Lytham Pier to raise awareness for mental health and suicide prevention.
This walk is incredibly important to us because we believe suicide needs to be spoken about more openly. Too many people struggle in silence, and by bringing this issue into the open, we hope more people will feel able to ask for help, access support, and begin to live a better life.
Our goal is simple: we want everyone to be happy, supported, and never feel alone. Mental health matters just as much as physical health, and no one should feel ashamed for needing help.
By supporting Lewis, Angel, Becky and Oliver, you are helping us spread awareness, reduce stigma, and show that there is hope, help, and understanding available.
Thank you for supporting our walk and standing with us for mental health 💛

Pedal of Palliative
30hour Cycling Marathon
19th - 20th March 2026
We are taking on a 30-hour cycling challenge, where we will take turns to ensure that someone is cycling continuously on a machine for the full 30 hours — no breaks, just determination, teamwork, and commitment.
We are doing this challenge in support of Brian House Children’s Hospice, an incredible charity that provides specialist care and support to children with life-limiting conditions, as well as emotional and practical support to their families. Brian House helps families create precious memories, offers comfort during the most difficult times, and ensures that no family ever feels alone.
This challenge will push us physically and mentally, but it is nothing compared to the strength shown every day by the children and families supported by Brian House.
By supporting Euan, Kasey, Charlie and Neil, you are helping to raise vital funds for a charity that truly changes lives. Every donation, no matter the size, will make a real difference.

Castle to Tower
Castle to Tower walk
23rd March 2026
Our group — Will, Fraser, Shayne and Abby, have chosen to support a cause of huge local importance: Elliot’s Place.
Elliot’s Place is a Blackpool-based charity dedicated to raising awareness around men’s mental health and suicide prevention. They work tirelessly to create a safe and supportive environment where men feel able to speak openly, seek help, and understand that it’s okay not to be okay.
To support this vital mission, we are taking on a 30-mile walk from Lancaster Castle to Blackpool Tower, which we aim to complete in a single day. This will be a tough physical and mental challenge, but one we are proud to take on for such an important cause.
Our initial fundraising goal is £1,000, but we are motivated to push ourselves further and have set an ambitious target of £3,000. Every donation will help Elliot’s Place continue their life-saving work within our community.
We chose this charity because men’s mental health is not talked about enough — and it should be. It is an ongoing issue affecting countless lives, and Elliot’s Place is actively battling this stigma every day. We stand with them, and we hope you will too.
Thank you so much for your support 💛

Project Yellow Day
Wear Yellow Day
30th March 2026
We are inviting everyone at college to wear yellow to show support for those struggling with mental health issues and coping with thoughts of suicide. This is a college-wide challenge, open to everyone!
We have chosen to support Solace, an empowerment charity, after a conversation with Sam from Empowerment, who highlighted the profound impact suicide can have on families, friends, and entire communities. Without proper support, those affected may experience ongoing mental health challenges or even be at greater risk of suicide themselves.
This made it clear to us just how important Solace’s work is, and the huge benefit they bring to our community. By participating and showing support, we hope to raise awareness, encourage conversations, and remind people that help and understanding are always available.
Thank you for supporting this vital cause from Henry, Jensen, Alessia and Chloe 💛
