The central message to all journalism success we keep hearing is: get involved, take risks and drive the discussions!

UPCOMING TRIP

Students will soon have the opportunity to take part in an exciting trip to the BBC and the University of Central Lancashire (UCLan). This visit will give learners a behind-the-scenes look at the world of broadcasting, journalism, and media production, as well as the chance to explore university-level facilities and workshops. The experience aims to deepen students’ understanding of the media industry while helping them explore future study and career pathways.

MEET THE TEAM

Hi, my name is Millie, I am 16 years old and a member of the journalism academy.
I joined this academy in order to develop a foundation for when I’m older as I would
Like to be the hostess of a magazine and write articles for others.
Here at college I study Ancient History, Combined English and Business.
I would like to base my journalism on history as it’s something I take a lot of interest in.
I would eventually like to go to the University Of Manchester where I will study English literature and history to help build a foundation for my career in the future.

MEET THE TEAM

My Name Is Harry Morgan
I’m a guy, I come from Fleetwood High School, but I come from the Saxon Village of Bispham. I just so happen to be autistic, which is neat.
I’m a writer, a writer of stories, screenplays and poems.
I chose JA because the staff at the freshers day were very persuasive. It’s pretty fun if I'm being honest and gives you opportunities to create. Here's a quote I like.
“No one else is dealing with your demons, meaning maybe defeating them could be the beginning of your meaning, friend”
