Academic Year 2025-26

Holidays in term time 

The college does not authorise holidays in term time, as even short breaks can significantly disrupt learning, affect progress, and undermine future outcomes. This policy applies from the point of enrolment. Students and their parents/carers are asked to plan holidays outside the published term dates. 

Find below the term dates for the following academic year:

Monday 3rd November - College timetable recommences 

Thursday 18th December - Students finish for Christmas

Monday 5th January - College reopens

Thursday 12th February -  Fully remote learning day where students learn from home.  The college closes to the public/students for the February half term at the end of the day

Monday 23rd February - College timetable recommences 

Friday 27th March - College finishes for Easter at the end of the day 

Monday 13th April - College timetable recommences 

Monday 4th May - Bank holiday 

Friday 22nd May - College finishes for May half term at the end of the day 

Monday 1st June - College timetable recommences with additional teaching for Lower Sixth

Wednesday 1st July - Students finish for summer

Monday 31st August - Bank holiday 

Tuesday 1st September- Lower Sixth/Foundation Programme Induction Day

Wednesday 2nd September - Lower Sixth/Foundation Programme Induction Day

Thursday 3rd September - Upper Sixth return to college - all students in

Friday 16th October - College closes to the public/students for October half term at the end of the day

Monday 2nd November - College timetable recommences

Thursday 17th December - Students finish for Christmas

Thursday 11th February - College closes to the public/students for February half term at the end of the day

Monday 12th April- College timetable recommences 

Monday 3rd May - Bank holiday 

Friday 28th May - College finishes for May half term at the end of the day
