How will I be taught?
We offer two pathways in health and social care: Health Studies Cadetship (you must study the Level 3 Extended Diploma course for this) or general health and social care studies. In your first year, students will complete two block placements of up to 190 hours work experience.
All students will have the opportunity to complete their first placement at Blackpool Victoria Hospital. In the second year, some students with specialise in the Health Studies Cadetship programme, working in partnership with NHS teaching hospitals and other clinical settings. Students on this programme will volunteer two days a week across multiple clinical settings throughout the academic year.
